About Us
Together, We’re Making a Difference in North Texas
For nearly four decades, The Dallas Morning News Charities has played a vital role in strengthening the North Texas community made possible by the unwavering generosity of The Dallas Morning News readers, donors, and partners.
Since 1986, we’ve partnered with more than 75 local nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of hunger and homelessness. These dedicated partners work tirelessly to ensure that individuals and families in need have access to food, safe shelter, clothing, and the resources to build brighter futures.
The gifts of over 80,000 donors have provided over $42 Million to support the efforts of our charity partners.
To ensure every gift makes the greatest impact, The Dallas Morning News covers all administrative expenses, allowing 100% of your tax-deductible donation to go directly to our charity partners serving North Texans in need.
