It’s hard to study when your first meal of the day is the school lunch.
Every morning, Casey and Jamie told their teachers that they were hungry. Through one of our charities’ programs, the twins start the day with a sack of food. Now they can focus on the activities in the classroom.
Poverty robs people of dignity, hope and the power to determine their own future, but together we can make a difference. The Dallas Morning News Charities funds 25 local organizations that help those who are homeless, hungry and able to rehabilitate.
