About Us
Together, We’re Making a Difference in North Texas
For nearly four decades, The Dallas Morning News Charities has played a vital role in strengthening the North Texas community made possible by the unwavering generosity of The Dallas Morning News readers, donors, and partners.
Since 1986, we’ve partnered with more than 75 local nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of hunger and homelessness. These dedicated partners work tirelessly to ensure that individuals and families in need have access to food, safe shelter, clothing, and the resources to build brighter futures.
Thanks to the compassion of more than 80,000 donors, we’ve been able to distribute over $38.5 million in support of these efforts translating into expanded programs, essential services, and countless lives changed for the better.
To ensure every gift makes the greatest impact, The Dallas Morning News covers all administrative expenses, allowing 100% of your tax-deductible donation to go directly to our charity partners serving North Texans in need.
