Happy New Year from Dallas Morning News Charities

The holiday season is over but our campaign season continues through January 31, 2015.

Update as of January 2, 2015

Number of donors: 975
Total collected: $651,633.49

This year, our campaign theme is “Making A Difference.” At our kickoff event, keynote speaker and former business editor of The Dallas Morning News Karen Blumenthal captured this sentiment perfectly when she said, “…sometimes I find myself wishing for just a little spark of that time when people felt they should rally as a community to provide ongoing support to those who are hurting most.”

After receiving last year’s record of $1.7 million, we know there are a lot of generous people who feel the need and have the means to help. If that’s you, we hope you’ll show your support by contributing to DMN Charities to benefit those served by our 25 partner agencies. So far, we’ve had 975 donors contribute $651,633.49. Every dollar counts, and there’s still time to make your gift.
